This was the official issue sling for british and commonwealth forces from about 1900 until it was superseded by the web sling in the latter part of ww2. Complete with running leather keeper loop and thronged for butt attachment. If you have a enfield tihs is the correct sling for your rifle. 1 3/16 wide and 46 inches long. Replicaetd markings! This is a brand nwe never used sling.
